EP - XXX
The story behind XXX
XXX is the first EP created by Thomas J Splinter and is written, composed and sung completely by his own hand and voice. He started working on the EP mid 2017 and continued to work on his EP next to his management study. His EP was finished in November and the voice was recorded in December just 3 weeks before the release date.
For inspiration Thomas went to the city. Amsterdam, the capital city of The Netherlands, feels like home. every step and every place there is always something interesting going on. Thomas witnessed several situations but also led his daily life in Amsterdam. To process the busy thoughts of the city, Thomas went on several hikes in the massive quiet mountains of Slovenia and Italy where he could place all his findings and feelings, then when returned in the Netherlands, the songs would pour out.

The name is rather different than most tracks or EP names due to the many meanings of XXX But for Thomas it means Amsterdam. When you take a look around you in Amsterdam you will see the triple X everywhere because it is the weapon of the city
Thomas decided to create his own artwork based on the city itself. as you look at the artwork you can see that everything has a connection to Amsterdam.
For the new EP Thomas took a new profile picture in a photo studio. With a new pianosuit the image is complete!
